Its true the a99 IMO is a glorified a77. You just can’t use the same CPU, EVF and slow the FPS down, eliminate the pop up flash and jack the price 100%. Maybe, maybe if it had a class leading 32mp sensor. But seriously, 1400 more and Sony thinks its not competing with its aps-c cameras. Think again, because it is. I love my a77 but with sonys christmas sales I could buy 2 a77 bodies and have over 700 dollars left toward a lens rather than the a99. And its fugly. Imwant a GF but maybe a used a900 is a better deal. Drop a CLASS leading 32mp sensor and we’ll talk.
