Really nothing to joke about. This little lens for only 99 in twinkit is a steal. Buy one (or both) adapters and you are in for a treat. Using this with the NEX 5N is a joy.

I tested it with the Fisheye and wideangle lens.
The Price is good and in the center it is very sharp.
But the borders loose to much sharpness.
I would like a 2,0/16 mm instead.
Its even good with the Nex 5n but not good anymore with the Nex7.

I have the NEX-5N and this lens gives very good IQ for the price. It is very compact and is my walk-around lens. Can’t beat the quality and the price ($100 when bundled).

Body/Lens Quality: 8/10
I haven’t dropped the lens at any time (a great achievement for me!) but I would think this little lens could withstand quite a few impacts and not flinch.
Usability: 8/10
Any pancake lens is going to score high for me, because it makes the camera easier to carry. This one gets a little more, as it’s an f 2.8. The fact that it’s so wide-angle means you have to be pretty close to the action, though.
Features: 4/10
Well, any lens that’s this small isn’t going to have a lot of features. There’s no image stabilization, for example. IF you count the fact that optional attachments will make the lens even wider, then you could add to this score, but I’m only rating what I purchased.
Image Quality: 6/10
This might be partly due to the fact that I have the first generation NEX-5, which hasn’t been the best at rendering colors. But the IQ is still above average if for one reason only: because the slight pin cushion distortion actually makes people look skinnier instead of fatter. People love taking pictures with it because it makes them look better.
Price: 5/10
5/10 simply means it’s priced right around where it should be. It’s s starter lens that has its faults, and therefore shouldn’t be too expensive, and therefore it isn’t.

Build quality is great. Optically it isn’t great, but mine is not as bad as I find on the net. To me it is a usefull lens.
I also have the wide angle convertor, which makes this a 18mm (?) equivalent lens, and that combination does not disappoint at all!

Center Quality is fine, corners are bad, extreme corners no IQ left!
The worst lens i found for years, it will stay in the cabinet until the camera is sold.
Fortunately there are options to adapt other lenses (Zeiss/Leica) to uncover the true potential of the sensor.

This lens is awesome in terms of size as it fits on perfectly on the nex, however the image quality just isn’t there.
Unless you can match the IQ of A mounts there just isn’t a point.
It’s a waste of the great NEX sensor potential
