I really appreciate this lens ! I was really surprised by the very good image quality, it’s far better than the Nex kit lens ! and better than the alpha mount 18-200
there is a little bit distortion at 18 and at 200, but it is often the case in this kind of lens !
Very good stabilisation, sharpness, vignetting performance, and chromatic aberration is well controlled !
Even the size, wich had been critisize a lot, is not a problem for this kind of all-around lens
I higly recommand it !!

to fat and heavy price (by quarry)

the optics are good – für such a superzoom, the magnification is great!!!
But it is far to big and heavy and a little bit soft at 200 mm – maybe with the new Telezoom y will get the better pictures.
OSS is really good, f:6,3 is really bad.
