I will let you know my choices:

  1. Sony medium format. Yes I like the new Fuji GFX100s and think Sony should do the same
  2. Sony A7IV. It’s about time Sony!
  3. Sony A7000. Always thought a High End APS-C camera makes sense
  4. Sony A5. A $999 would be the killer.
  5. Sony RX curved sensor camera. At last something really new!

Sony financial report: Impressive +20% income and increases income in the electronics segment too!

You can now check out the full Sony Q3 financial report (Click here). As a whole the company reported a staggering +20% of operating income. Impressive if you consider the Coronavirus crisis. Moreover they also managed to basically sell the same amount of cameras of the previous year which I truly didn’t expect! The electronics segment as a whole also had an impressive operating income increase.

Those numbers just confirm that Sony is one of the very few companies still doing well in the camera business. One more reason to invest in the E-mount system if you want to be futureproof.
