UPDATE: The press conference is over and expected Sony did not announce anything E-mount related. Like I told you before we got a better chance to get new E-mount gear on the next event taking place in mid January (in around 10 days).

Today Sony announced new 8K TV’s only (press release here). Expect Sony to announce first 8K camcorderds later in the year. First 8K E-mount cameras are likely to be introduced after than sometimes in 2020

Like I told you don’t expect anything E-mount related. And let’s hope the next press conference in mid January will finally give us a new camera and lenses!

Mark Galer created a new and very helpful Sony Alpha educational video series on Youtube (Click here). He also sent me this text:
