(SR4) Trusted source A99 and A58 will remain for sale for a longer time.

A trusted source said that even with a possible future new A99II or A58II camera release the A99 and A58 will remain for sale for this year. I have yet no reliable info about the new A-mount cameras that will be announced at Photokina but it’s sure these will use brand new autofocusing systems while the FF A-mount camera sensor may be the same used by the current A7r.

Indonesian agency leaks possible Sony Full Frame E-mount camera?

The Indonesian agency Postel registered the name of a new Sony interchangeable camera having the code “WW024382“. Last time I saw that kind of code the A7s had been announced the 3-4 weeks after. As you see on the screenshot APS-C E-mount cameras are registered with their real name (ILCE-5100 which is also going to be announced soon). I have no reliable info yet about a new FE camera so don’t get too excited for now. Anyway, I hope this will be Sony’s high-end A9 :)

(SR2) Soon to be announced curved sensor RX1s has similar A7s noise performance.

A new source reported that the name of the first curved sensor FF camera could be “RX1s”. It features a very compact Zeiss 35mm f/1.8 lens. He also said the curved sensor will allow a  “Sensitivity performance almost similar to A7S.“.

Sounds exciting!
