(FT4) Sony new camera announcement before PMA (Feb 21)
Finally we were able to get some infos from our trusted sources. There will be definitely new cameras at PMA.
Expect an announcement shortly before the Feb 21. What’s sure is that there will ne new Sony DSC
One source wrote us “We know that two new point and shoots will be announced, the TX5 and one other that no one seems to know anything about.”
The big question is if Sony will announce new Alpha cameras and the new mirrorless camera/s. When I asked my sources about that they only answered me with a Big Smile on their face. They are torturing me and I am torturing you 
I only received some pieces of infos but I am waiting for a confirmation from other sources…

Let me express my “emotions” -> Running a rumor website like this is hard but also exciting. There is a lot of hidden work behind every rumor…and I feel there is something BIG coming from Sony!

February 3, 2010 |The BIG 500mm was suppose to be released on previous PMA… Perhaps they made some progress with it during last year…. all in all we have now all the other lenses shown by Sony during last PMA (zeiss, 50, 30macro, A850lens…)

50mm zeiss would be very interesting, but it’d also be cool to have Macro lens zeiss produce for “other bayonets”, like 50 f/2
Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 perhaps for Alpha? Should give us great wide angle lens.
And some cheap lenses please too
I could stand 85 f/2 too if it’d have decent price

February 4, 2010 |Perhaps they will come up with their A750 or whatever they’re gonna call it at last! Let’s hope so…and some great (and cheaper!) lenses.
I’d love to have the 24-70 but I’m not spending another € 1500 on a single lens (got a 70-400G SSM for my main hobby, planespotting…perfectly happy with it)…
Perhaps they updated their ex-Minolta fisheye…or the 50mm f/1.4. Or the 70-200. Or the 11-18mm…

I am sorry you had to mourn the passing of your camera – I have the same model and would be sad to see it so mauled – but glad that your backup plan worked flawlessly. Amazing. And thank you for sharing it with the world.
