It is a lovely looking case but I do wonder what protection it actually provides? It seems more like an aesthetic thing to me then something that actually has a function. I could be wrong though. I suppose the ability to add the ‘gun strap’ at the bottom might be useful.

These cases are real attractive. But I must say it looks better in the advertisement pictures than how it feels in hand. Indeed, I am speaking only my own experience on my Nex6. (When you have the case on, the piece that is right under your right hand, where you have the grip on the camera was lose and did not allow my fingers to wrap it around).

Wrapping around the grip might be about my hands, but the leather case being lose on the grip is about the case design for sure. I understood that nex 6 has already a beautiful texture for your right hand. And I like the overall design of its grip.

I was so excited about my Christmas gift; gariz for nex 6, but sent it back because of these reasons. It was also very expensive for my wallet.

Experience on the RX1 might be totally different. It is a completely different design.
