Well i already have the lens but not the adapter. It looks from the specifications that the Kenko lens, that it is smaller than the Minolta and Sony 500mms. I guess the appeal would be to save some space in your camera bag. /shrugs

Actually, i attached the Minolta 500mm f8 with a 2x teleconverter to my NEX-5 and attached the camera itself to the tripod with no problems. Mirror reflex lenses are really light so there’s no tripod creep.

And…. it’s gone again.

Ha! Yeah, the hosts are not the ones who actually test the product. And did you notice that they compared the NEX to two point-and-shoots and a Nikon D5100? Pretty hilarious. Wow nice shots, Jens! Thanks fir sharing. The moon certainly looks clearer than the shot i took with my A100, Minolta 500mm f8, and 2x teleconverter. I think it’s going to be a good Christmas.

I was worried about the fixed mirror producing glare, but if there is enough consensus on dPreview that this is not a worry, then I will be getting an A 65 or 77 soon, too!
