Zeiss lenses for Nikon and Canon are made by Cosina and I was told that there are contractual agreements between Sony and Zeiss and so Zeiss does not have Cosina making lenses with an A-mount.

Professional photographers. I realise that they are becoming extinct but there are still some out there that would like the highest possible FF camera. £5,000 is still a great deal less than the latest MF digital back.

Exactly, and a FF sensor that will equal the A77 is a whopping 56mp. Can’t wait for those and I wish I could get a 56mp next month.
