So it’s official….

The high iso performance sucks…?

I’m so disappointed, i don’t think i can buy the a77 anymore.
Concert (low light), and wedding photography are my two fields. I was looking forward to the “hundreds of thousands”. Yeally, just the huge improvement at iso 3200/6400. But i got nothing.

I have a concern. I don’t see how the LCD can swing to the side of the camera. It looks likes it’s definitely in the middle and it can swivel a bit from that center pivot. It’s a little disappointing.

Thankfully only 2 more days until all is answered.

I would love to here how this new 16-50 2.8 lens compares to the cz 24-70 on the A77. Being an apsc camera. Surprised these sources talked about the image quuility with the CZ lens and not the new Sony.

You’ll actually be able to see the DOF on the lcd. But you’re right, the button would be nice.

The a100 wasn’t branded on the front. It had a very nice small branding on the back. To be quite honest, I find that a much nicer option.

That BETTER be a new, bigger, lens. Or I’m expecting to be really disappointed by the small size of this camera.

The sony a900 only has ONE point.
By your logic, surely that means it couldn’t possibly compete with any other camera.

C’mon, get realistic. There’s more to it than just # count. More isn’t necessarily “better”

I, and i know many many others, only use center point AF.
It works amazinglly well.

Should we expect a d90 replacement (d9000?) to to be a competitor and possibly outperform the a77 in the near future?
