The Lotus Eater commented on the blog post Sony NEX-7 Redneck edition by LL. 1 day, 13 hours ago · View

Please could you elaborate on the flaws you discovered?

Prices always come down after launch. The 500D is nearly 3 years old now, so it’s a stange comparison to make. However, the A37 will have better performance, better image quality, better viewfinder… You’d be better off comparing the A37 to the Nikon D3200… that one costs £650 with kit lens. I paid £295 for [...]

Ah I see.
Yeah, that won’t happen unless Sony makes full frame NEX – whether that will be e-mount or not, I don’t know. But yes, it will be a big lens.

Fair enough Michel, I did the same, but beware that you will lose stabilisation. Unless you buy Sigma OS lenses of course.

Can you tell me what genuine innovations Canikon have bought to the table since 2006? I’m struggling to think of any.

She’s clearly as ignorant as you are.
Oh wait, this meeting is fictional, you’re just trolling.

What wording? You mean the Alpha bit? Technically NEX is part of the Alpha range too.
A-mount would have been a better description. I don’t see why a zoom can’t be fast. Unless Sony are going to release something similar to the 18-135mm for e-mount, then what else could it be? Maybe an ultra [...] -
