New Lensbaby Composer Pro for Alpha Mount.
Doh! I missed to post the new Lensbaby Composer Pro announcement! “The new lens refines and enhances the classic Lensbaby Composer by upgrading the swivel ball and focus mechanism to provide professional performance. It now delivers an ultra-smooth focus and tilt control and you have a fluid and accurate dampened focus ring comparable to the focus mechanisms of the highest quality professional manual focus lenses.”
The lens is already in Stock at Amazon (Click here) and BHphoto (Click here).
There is also a version with Pre-installed Sweet 35 Optic at Amazon (Click here) and BHphoto (Click here).

2 years ago |Price: $299.95 another question. can i use the lensbaby as a normal 50mm lens without bend/tilt the lensbaby?

2 years ago |You can, but the quality will be… erm… how to call it… “worst 50mm prime you’ve ever seen”. This lens is for special effects, not to use it as a regular lens.

2 years ago |They would sell sooo many more of these things if they made the first part a mechanical and electrical passthrough (so you can attach any lens onto the end and shift/tilt it). Obviously would only work with lightweight lenses, but certainly with a 20-50mm prime attached, the lensbaby would allow real pro results.
FWIW, with the current offering, I’d rather start with higher quality glass and then simulate shift/tilt in post-processing via Photoshop, particuarly when the lensbaby takes so long to set up (e.g. it has fixed aperture rings that you have to mnaully swap out, and it also means that the viewfinder is too dark to manually focus at higher apertures).

2 years ago |Lensbaby is sooo hard to use. Have to squeeze really hard to tilt and get focus. @_@ or maybe i was playing around with the cheapest model, the muse?
