2) For those living in Germany and Austria, the shop xp-tron.de is selling the NEX-5N body for 484 Euro ONLY: There is also a 5 Euro discount coupon code, so the price drops to 479 Euro. The coupon code is: “MGSCDXP-TRON”. This is the lowest price I’ve seen anywhere for a brand-new camera.
3) Kamerahuset.dk have these deals:
NEX-5 body only 1995 DKK ~268 €
NEX-5 with 18-200mm 5995 DKK ~805 €

notebooksbilliger.de is also a good option, but I couldn’t find a coupon code for their store to lower the price further.

2 years ago |In the UK the 70-200mm is available from warehouseexpress.com (reputable company) for a hundred quid cheaper and they are also doing the Sony cashback deal.

2 years ago |Glad to see that the errors in the original LL NEX-7 M-mount lens tests have been acknowledged. I recall several of us who pointed out the obvious errors in the original conclusion came under some attack.
A good start, but it seems that a more thorough test of symmetrical (pseudo-guassian) lenses is in order (and planned if the note at the end is an indicator). If the issues can be easily fixed in PP (as might be the case) then this might turn out not to be such a significant issue. What would be nice is for RAW converters to be able to perform the relevant corrections.
