Capture One Launches Editorial Color Grading Styles
Bringing the coveted styles of top photographers & retouchers exclusively to Capture One

COPENHAGEN, February 7, 2019:

Capture One, the world’s premier name in image processing software, has released the Editorial Color Grading Style Pack. The Style Pack brings within reach of any user, for the first time, the editorial aesthetic of 3 acclaimed photographers and retouchers whose work can be found in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Cosmopolitan among others.

Michael Woloszynowicz, Marie Bärsch, and Pratik Naik are all celebrated photographers and retouchers with hundreds of thousands of dedicated followers, and years of published work to their names. Their approach is at once contemporary and timeless, and they have chosen to work specifically with Capture One to create 7 Styles each that reflect their individual aesthetic.
Capture One Styles are precisely-designed presets that adjust the overall look and feel of an image with one click yet allow the image to be fully tuned and refined to suit individual taste. With the option to add each Style as a layer and control its intensity, and use multiple layers and Styles per image, Capture One Styles can serve as either a starting point or finishing touch or to give a specific nuanced flair.

The Editorial Color Grading Pack includes 3 sets of 7 Styles made by Michael, Marie, and Pratik, giving a total of 21 unique Styles to choose from. The wide variation of Styles provides countless possibilities to create professional and distinguished editorial images, be it fashion, street, travel, wedding, portraiture, and any other genre of your editorial work.

Sony A7III vs Canon EOS-RP size comparison

Share

Apotelyt.com made this accurate size comparison betwene the soon to be announced new Canon EOS-RP ($1599) and the Sony A7III

Those are the specs (corrected by me as there was an error made by Apotelyt)

I think Sony can easily counteract with this camera launch by dropping the price of the Sony A7III (which is still the much better camera). What I really found worrying is that FF is getting so cheap that classic APS-C (Fuji) and MFT (Olympus) camera makers could suffer from this…

This is the $1599 Canon EOS-RP Full Frame mirrorless. How will be Sony’s answer?

Share

The rumor I posted last week turned out to be true: Canon is going to launch a new $1599 Canon EOS-RP Full Frame mirrorless camera. This begs the question if Sony will answer with a new lower end model FF camera launch. Or maybe they will just cut the A7III price.

Here are the full Canon EOS-RP leaked images and specs via Nokishita:

26.2 Million Pixels Full Size Sensor
Dual pixel CMOS AF
DIGIC 8
Continuous shooting performance: 5 frames / sec
ISO sensitivity: 100 to 40000 (equivalent to extended ISO: 50, 51200, 102400)
Organic EL EVF
3.0 type touch panel variable angle liquid crystal
Dual Sensing IS
DLO in camera, RAW development in camera, C-RAW compatible
Size: 132.5 x 85.0 x 70.0 mm
Weight: Approximately 440 g (body only), about 485 g (including batteries?)
Kit lens: RF 24 – 105 mm F 4 L IS USM

Unreported by Nokishita is the announcement date which will be around February 14 (Source CanonWatch).

I think it’s great both Canon and Nikon will announce new gear this month. Sony will have to answer swiftly with new lens and camera releases if they want to steal some headlines from the competition!
