New Sigma FE lenses to start shipping later than expected (late May-mid June)

BHphoto changed the shipment start info on all new Sigma FE lenses. Most of them should have been available in late April but they will now be avilable in late May-mid June only. Check out these links:
Sigma 14mm f/1.8 for $1,599 at BHphoto and Adorama.
Sigma 20mm f/1.4 for $899 at BHphoto and Adorama.
Sigma 24mm f/1.4 for $849 at BHphoto and Adorama.
Sigma 35mm f/1.4 for $899 at BHphoto and Adorama.
Sigma 50mm f/1.4 for $949 at BHphoto and Adorama.
Sigma 85mm f/1.4 for $1,199 at BHphoto and Adorama.
Sigma 135mm f/1.8 for $1,399 at BHphoto and Adorama.

UPDATE (rumor downgraded): Sony likely to announce new product(s) in mid-late May!

Sources told us Sony orgnized some big events and we should expect new products to be shown/announced around mid-late May!

I hope to get some details soon. From trusted sources we know that this is on Sony’s 2018 roadmap:

1) 24mm f/1.4 GM should be announced soon
2) A7sIII and A6700 will also be announced this year
3) Maybe a 135mm FE coming too

UPDATE: We know got word that Sony probably has delayed the product launch. We have to wait til June :(

Phase One announced the new iMX industrial/drone camera. What’s cool on this thing is that it’s the world’s first camera using the new Sony 100Megapixel backilluminated 44x33mm sensor!
Fuji, Hasselblad and Pentax will use this sensor on their future cameras too. And maybe Sony will launch an RX camera with that sensor too? Me dreaming :)

First Tamron 28-75mm FE autofocus test!

In the US at BHphoto, BuyDig and Adorama for $799.
in the EU at WexUK, Fotokoch for 829 Euro or 699 pounds.

I have little doubt the new Tamron 28-75mm FE lens will deliver high image quality. But the big unknown until today was…how good (or bad) will be its autofocus performance compared to the Sony 24-70mm GM lens?

Well today we got the first answer! Our reader Marcell just spotted this first autofocus test video:

Of course we have to see more in-depth videos to draw a final conclusion…but so far it seems to work pretty well!
