RUMOR: Sony will launch new Full Frame gear (camera+lens) in late June!

Share

At last! In June we will finally get at least one new FF camera and at least one new FF lens. I have been told this is a major E-mount event with some surprises (which means stuff that wasn’t rumored).

What to expect?
I heard previously that the A7sII successor might be announced on a late June event so this may be the camera we will get. And I am 90% certain there is a 12-24mm f/2.8 GM lens coming this summer so maybe that’s the lens that will be announced in June too.

Surprise?
I have been told there is something more than this…stay tuned…

Timeline Recap:
In late May Sony will announce a new compact camera (article here).
In late June Sony will announce new Full Frame E-mount gear

Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 FE Review at Photographyblog: “innovative prime lens that delivers the goods at a very attractive price”

Share

Photographyblog posted the full Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 FE Review and concluded:

Samyang have one again produced an innovative prime lens that delivers the goods at a very attractive price. Other than the lack of weather-sealing (which would have inevitably made the lens bigger and heavier) and the fact that it doesn’t say Sony on the side, there really isn’t much to criticise here, making the new Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 FE more than worthy of both your serious consideration and our Highly Recommended award.

Samyang 75mm f/1.8 FE preorder at BHphoto, Adorama and in Germany at Fotokoch.

Tamron 70-180mm FE preorders:
In USA at BHphoto, Amazon, Adorama and FocusCamera.
In Eu at FotoKoch DE, Calumet DE, WexUK and ParkCameras.

Nate:

I spent the last month filming Seattle (one of the largest cities in the US) completely empty. A portion of the filming was with the A7iii and the 24mm f/1.4GM, so it’s still on topic. Feel free to share if you’d like; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qm9QZ_RzZc&feature=youtu.be
