(SR5) New Sony E-mount product announcement around June 5-6!!!

Share

I just learned that Sony will have a new E-mount product announcement around June 5-6.

I am working to get some info about WHAT is coming. But I have been told no A9II and A7sIII will be announced on that event. The A9II and A7sIII are both expected to be announced in late 2019.
Just to be clear: I am not sure there will be a camera at all…there might be new lenses “only”.

Stay tuned for more!

IQ comparison between the Fuji GFX100 and Sony A7rIII

Share

If you are curious to learn how well the new Sony 102MP medium format sensor works on the Fuji GFX100 check out the comparison posted by Imaging Resource.

This for example is a cropped image comparison at ISO100:

And here is the ISO 12.800 comparison:

Of course the Fuji is sharper. But whether this difference can justify the $7,000 price difference is up to you to judge :)
