Patent: Tamron Full Frame lens may be made for the NEX?

Never get excited about a patent. It’s not a prove at all that the described product may be produced for real. That said Egami (translation here) spotted a new Tamron lens design and it is a 300mm f/2.8 lens for a Full Frame mirrorless camera system. There is no info about the mount that the lens is going to use. But Sony Corporation maintains an 11% share hold in Tamron (Source: Wikipedia). So it may could be a lens made for the NEX system.
That said Tamron wouldn’t be the first to make a Full Frame compatible E-mount lens. Samyang/Rokinon already sells such lenses for the VG-900! Here they are:
Rokinon 14mm T3.1 Cine Lens for Sony E at BHphoto (Click here) and on eBay (as Rokinon).
24mm T1.5 Cine Lens for Sony E at BHphoto (Click here) and on eBay (as Rokinon).
Rokinon 35mm T1.5 Cine Lens for Sony E at BHphoto (Click here) and on eBay (as Rokinon).
Rokinon 85mm T1.5 Cine Lens for Sony E at BHphoto (Click here) and on eBay (as Rokinon).

It is already debunked here:

6 months ago |Sony owns a large part of Tamron’s share. I think it is time of this little brother to help Sony to resolve the problem of lacking choice of lenses.

6 months ago |Egami have confused SLR lenses for mirrorless ones before, so I wouldn’t jump to conclusions there.
Tamron don’t have a 300/2.8 in current production, so a new PZD design from them would surprise little.

6 months ago |So how do I login to the SAR mobile site? There is no obvious place to do this.
There isn’t even an option to switch to the full size website so I can login that way.
Absolutely useless.

Can’t wait to see FF NEX camera!

6 months ago |Oh lovely, another outrageously priced lens that only 4 people in the world could afford, and an idiotic idea for a mirrorless system unless it is super-compact; being full-frame that will no be so. What we demand is 300m ff4! 200mm 2.8! Compact and goddamn stablized! yay.

An argument that too few people will buy a camera may be relevent, but an argument that too few people will buy a lense is nonsense.

6 months ago |11% share is no influence at all, certainly no control of what Tamron does. For which we can all be thankful, Tamron makes lenses for a number of mounts and is independent of Sony. Though they are happy enough to sell their own design lenses to them.
And Sony interested in a long focal length lens for E mount? E mount is for wide angle lenses and normal lenses, anything longer than that will be a no sale because E mount is for tiny camera worshipers. And Sony has made it abundantly clear that they don’t intend to support full focal range in NEX.
This is Admin showing his personal bias, nothing more.

2 months ago |I dissagree.
Long and macro lenses are necessary for a system.
Without that you have little more than high wuality toy cameras.
Existing lens designs could be built in e mount.
You dont need to sell a high volume of a particular lens because lenses are hand assembled not mass produced.
I would also like to say Tamron produces some of the best macro primes available.
