I am not a pro photographer but if I were you and wanted to make a career of this I would suggest finding a local photographer who’s work you respect and have them critique your portfolio. IMHO you need a little feedback.

2 years ago |I doubt it. A returned product will usually be sold as refurbished or open source box. Since you bought yours as new (I assume you did), you will get the proper warranty so it shouldn’t be a problem anyway.

2 years ago |Please send us an example. You were looking at 100% crop, weren’t you? You should downsize it by first before comparison. While examining A77 sample images from RAW I’ve noticed that my image viewer is using algorithm which preservers sharp edges at zoomed out views (25% zoom). This behavior enhances noise. DxO Mark measurements prove that till ISO 1600 A55 performance is the same as A77. But if you compare 100% crop then sure there is almost twice as much noise in A77 image.

2 years ago |today i take some photos with another photographer to compare a77 vs a700. We used lenses minolta 50mm f1.4, tokina 11-22 f2.8 and minolta 200mm f2.8. Photos are developed by LR3 to jpg without changes.
