-NEX 3 + 16mm pancake = €499
-NEX 3 + 18-55 zoom= €549
-NEX 3 + 6mm pancake + 15-55 zoom = €649
-NEX 5 + 16mm pancake = €599
-NEX 5 + 18-55 zoom = €649
-NEX 5 + 18-200 tele = €1099
-NEX 5 + 6mm pancake + 15-55 zoom = €749
Which would mean:
-16mm pancake = €100
-18-55mm zoom = €150
-18-200mm tele = €600 (goink!)
The NEX5 + both kit lenses looks like a good deal (for me at least, but how usable is the 18-55mm lens?)

4 years ago |It should be available in Japan in early june, and according to my local Sony website (The Netherlands) it should be available at the end of june.
I don’t believe the rest of the wordl will differ too much from that.

4 years ago |Nah, it’s just the silver one. It has those colours because of reflection. It’s lying on a white plate surrounded by orangy curtains.
You can also see that the grip isn’t beige all around.

4 years ago |I guess that a pancake is great for portability. But when filming a zoom is prefered – and the anti-shake might help video as well.
I would take both for those reasons.
The pictures I have seen so far does not impress me when it comes to lens quality. But I guess that some firmware updates will hide distorsion and CA more.

I think they’ll also release lens profiles that can be imported into Lightroom or something fancy like that (I don’t own Lightroom so I don’t know) that can correct the lens distortion in the RAW images.
