Plus 1000 for that mate. The A900 is a beauty in good light (I have a d700 for very low light and stobism) the color performance is stunning. Stick that fancy new 36MP sensor in there, tune it (filters) for amazing color reproduction ala A900, put a more durable shutter (good to 300K) and f***ing release it!! Innovation is only good as long as you can release you innovative products before the competition comes out with something better! Hurry up Sony..

Minolta's/Sony's only hope is to be the most techy after they lost all their pro users in the 70's when they lost out to Nikon and Canon. Mostly because all the journalist where using Nikon and Canon. when was the last time you saw a Sony alpha Ad? I still see nikon and Canon ads on tv all the time. Sony has a huge advantage in Video where they where the dominate player for a very long time. That experience is showing up in their cameras now because thats where they think they can lead.
