The Sigma 30mm f2.8 is optically the best performing lens on the NEX 7. It’s also the sharpest, period.

For it’s focal length, the Sigma 19mm f2.8 is also optically the best performing lens on the NEX 7.

Again, why can’t Sony do this?

Have you been living under a rock? The A58 has been announced elsewhere. It doesn’t have the same OLED EVF as the A65/77, it is 800×600, not 1024×768.

You mean you want inexpensive lenses that Sony won’t be making money in because the cost of a higher speed lens with OSS should be the same as the excellent but not as well made Sigmas? Good business model.
