A 50mm f/1.2 is a specialized lens. For most photography f.1.4 would likely be much better (and less expensive). Of course it doesn’t give you the bragging rights an f./1.2 lens would.

Reliable? About the most commonly reported repair on the A900 / A850 seems to be the hotshoe. I can understand why Sony want to change it.

please can you give some rumours about the video specs?
video became so important!! so plese make some super slo mo possible on hd or full hd. some bursts of 5 secs would be great @120fps

That’s why I am looking forward to the A99 … I really hope that the significant noise reduces significant with the FF sensor! Actually I am really happy that Sony decided to stay with 24mpx and do not upgrade to 36mpx …
maybe with the new AF system + the FF sensor I will become a dignifying rival to the extremly equipped CaNi football photographers next to me Hope dies last.
