Doesn't sound right to me. If the sensor is APS-C, it will be a 700 series camera (to avoid consumer confusion) and I hope that Sony is going to offer a competitive camera to the Canon EOS 7D. If they don't, that's a huge gap in their lineup and I can't imagine they would permit that. Moreover, there's too many people with a lot of APS-C glass that would have no incentive to continue with Sony if they don't produce a competitive APS-C camera to the EOS 7D.
