(SR4) Videocamera with built-in projector

Ok ok, that’s not a Alpha related rumor but let’s post it anyway
Along the A35, NEX-C3, FS100 Sony will also announce three new videocameras. We have been told that one of the videocameras has built-in projectors. In the past we found a few patents describing such cameras so this should not be a big surprise.
What I am wondering is if that feature will sooner or later also become part of Sony digital cameras. I don’t know if you really care about that but Nikon already has such a camera: it is the Coolpix S1000pj (Click here to see that cam).

Stay tuned on SAR, the new NEX and SLT cameras are coming soon on April 4!

Reminder (SR = Sonyrumor):
SR1=probably fake rumor

I’m sorry but I have to notice that your links are misleading.
It’s ok if you earn money with banners and with links to web shops, but you should correctly specify that are links to shops’ related items, not to official camera specs or reviews.

Sam server but different problem. The database of SAR was defect for some weird reason. I cleaned it and it works now.

I was allready playing with the PJ10 and PJ30. And in dark Conditions the Projectors are working really well. Compared to the Nikon one, they are a real WIN

I think projectors in smartphones are a potentially genuinely useful device that will lead to future applications we can hardly fathom now.

But in cameras…not so much.

Isn’t this feature better suited for business? I agree it should be a smartphone tool. If this is supposed to be a social thing then I don’t see how this is better than people just uploading to Facebook and sharing there. Instead, lets all gather ’round, turn the lights off, get comfortable, and watch a boring slideshow for 20 minutes. Isn’t that what we all feared when going to Uncle Bob’s house right after they came back from vacation? Why would they try to resurrect such a thing?

And how can you disregard the fact that this portable technology will soon enough enable Live Digital Camouflage, aka Invisibility Cloak?!
