UPDATE: Image of Samyang 50mm t/1.5 removed

Dicahub spotted the first image of the new Samyang 50mm t/1.5 lens on an Asian magazine. UPDATE: On request of Samyang Dicahub now had to remove the image and asked me to remove it too. So I did although I don’t agree with it as this was published on a public magazine. Anyway, these are the lens specs:

  • Lens Construction: 9 elements in 6 groups:
  • Angle of View: 46.2 °
  • Aperture: T1.5 ~ 22
  • Minimum focusing distance: 0.45m
  • Filter size: 77mm
  • Size: 74.7 x 81.6mm (Canon EOS mount standard)
  • Weight: 575g (Canon EOS mount standard)
  • Supported Mount: Nikon F, Canon EOS, Pentax K, Sony A, Cannon M, Fujifilm X, Samsung NX, Sony E, Micro Four Thirds

This lens will be the fifth of their Cine Lens collection. Already available are:
