My only absolute requirement is that it should come with a mic-in and a standard hot shoe.

Some features I would love…I would love great low light performance so I don’t have to carry a flash at all, except when in studio settings. Would love slow motion video recording button that can be pressed mid video if you guys want to be cutting edge.
