Guess thats good news for the APS-C crowd at least.. I really wanted that 35mm fullframe (the current G is appalling). Is this the first SAM fullframe lens out (the 85mm)?
Will probably be getting that 24mm when I see the price.

he was almost on the money about the 2 lenses, granted he heard it from rumors.
the35mm is promising, the 85mm is a bust if it’s not dirt cheap.

2 years ago |The front elements of the SAM lenses look exactly the same. Are these just photoshopped images?

2 years ago |85mm seems to be very compact. Unfortunately only 2.8 SAM. It would be more sensible if Sony did it with SSM for E- mount.

strange coincidence.

2 years ago |I am not totally convinced yet but 35 and 85 are really different. The front glasses do not have the same sizes and the focus scale are different

2 years ago |I have the nikkor 35mm 1.8 on my D90 and it stays on my camera all time. The focal length + speed is just awesome. This one is supposed to be an exact copy of that lens. Good job Sony! Now we just need better apsc cameras
