Comments on: (SR5) Sony REAL mirrorless cameras to be unveileded in May

I’m looking forward to this camera being released.

The micro 43rds system doesn’t currently have any good high end prime lenses. The 20mm f1.7 is acceptable but nothing special. Also the higher pixel density of the smaller sensor is much more demanding on the lens not to mention the lower sensitivity.

The leica X1 is an amazing camera but has slow AF, no interchangeable lenses and lacks stabilisation.

I’m hoping the new sony EVIL will address all of these shortcomings and I hope to see some high end zeiss primes for the new system.

Where are the Sony a7XX news???

If by the end of today I don’t see any news about a new DSLR with video… darn it !!!… I don’t know what I am going to do…. my life with be…. *SOBS* ….. forget it…. sony doesn’t understand how I feel by now…. but wait… let me pull out my precious … my CANON T2i, it consoles me. I am going to go shoot some more .BRB.

Oh, I see Pentax announced the 645D, an awesome camera but some more news from Sony at CP+ about the mockups would be nice.

What happened to the CP+ show? Day 1 is over and no news anywhere, nothing from any manufacturer. What a dud show, at least the PMA showed something new and that was the poorest PMA I can ever remember.

wow thats great news! i expected it to be released in september. I guess ill hold off on buying the HX5v for the mean time to see what this camera has to offer. I’m hoping the design will be better than this mock up though. It doesnt look very sony-ish to me.
