An old shot of the London sky line that’s had a rework. Done this on the fly and just went with the gut. I am pretty pleased with the outcome……. I had a feeling that FB would be quite unforgiving with this one… It really doesn’t handle gradients that well at 72DPI. On my screen it looks much better

Sun leaper!
The afternoon had snow squalls to our south meaning that there was the possibility of a sundogs and other atmospheric optics. Sure enough we saw at least 3 all at the same time! On close inspection there are a few faint formations as well.

Technical info:
Quite a difficult shot to expose. Had to use a 3 stop soft ND Grad filter (Formatt Hitech), overlaying a part of the dark portion of the filter over the water, to control the exposure. I also used a 4 stop non-grad ND to achieve the long exposure.
