Two more small CP+ news: Kipon TS adapter and Hoocap cover.

Kipon announced a new Tilt Shift adapter to use with Nikon or Hasselblad lenses on Sony E-mount cameras. (Source: DC.watch).

Hoocap displayed their smart lens cap for the NEX cameras. You can already find them on eBay (Click here).

I think to see a Nikon AI lens. How I loved these lenses with the aperature control on the outside. Used them on the FTn and on the FE2.
Memories…
However, not going back in time…
Slides… manual focussing… manual lighting… the work to do for showing slides to friends… the storage room needed…
My absolute favourite was the Nikon 85 2.0 AI.

4 months ago |The tilt appears to be at 90 deg to the shift direction. Not that useful if the direction can not be changed.
Also, the tilt is in front of the tilt. Not good.
I am sure these are due lack of room to make the adapter. I am not at all sure about this design. I hope it gets revised.

4 months ago |Looks almost identical to my Mirex T/S adapter for NEX & m4/3. It works pretty well–the movements appear comparable to dedicated T/S lenses although at the full extent of the shift there’s a lot of flare and things get really soft when dramatically tilted.
