7 months ago |I have the 50/1.4 and the 70/2.8 macro. I highly recommend either, although the 70 is not part of this deal.
The 50/1.4 has become possibly my most used lens on my a77 (that and the CZ 24/2). There is nothing like it for low light (e.g. dimly lit stages), the focus is fast and accurate, bokeh is wonderful, and at least on the a77 is crisp corner to corner. I do not own the 85/1.4, but it is supposed to be roughly the same just longer. Had I not just bought the 70mm macro, I would be really really tempted…

7 months ago |I use sigma 17-50 f/2.8 which is either as good as or better than sony’s. It is also stabilised which is handy at times.
