Captured this image yesterday evening out for a hike at sunset near Vail, Colorado. Late summer lupine wildflowers are still around at this high elevation of around 11,300 ft (3444m). It was rainy and looked like not much for photo opportunities until just before sunset the sun poked through a hole in the clouds. I used a 3-image (normal, +1, -1 stop) capture and merged the files into a 32 bit raw file which I then finessed into what I actually saw witnessing it which is this result. I tried not to oversaturate it even if it looks very saturated – very intense in color and special to witness. Sony A7 Rii with Sony 70-200 FE f/4 OSS lens.
