Sony Japan officially marked the current [shoplink 34489 ebay]Zeiss 16-35mm A-mount lens[/shoplink] as discontinued. This means the new version anticipated at Photokina will be released within the next 1-2 months.

The new 16-35mm and 24-70mm A-mount Zeiss lenses will have following improvements:
– Improved AF speed
– Updated design and weatherproof body
– Image Quality improvement (like ghost reduction)
