Today Nikon announced the new 24 megapixel D7100 (spes on Amazon). It’s a nice camera with no Anti Aliasing filter and plenty of new features. It puts again a lot of pressure on the Sony SLT cameras. Sony is going to announce the new A7x this summer and I hope the new generation of Sony sensors will at least catch up with the quality of the new Nikon! And for that they will probably have to get rid of the AA filter too.

I remember the day when Sony launched the NEX-7 many of you were saying, damn, I would love that camera having less Megapixels and being cheaper. And Sony actually listened to you and made it real.
