Both were taken with a Gigapan Epic Pro head, the 7r body, and a Nikkor 180mm 2.8 ED lens. The combination of high megapixel count and the super sharp Nikkor lens is producing amazing results.

Paul: “I just thought I’d share with you something that may be of interest to some users. As you know, the Phigmenttech LM-NEX adapter is the only M-mount -> E-mount adapter that provides EXIF data and focus coupling What may not be apparent is that this adapter is also the only adapter (for any lens mount -> E mount) that can provide lens profiles to the camera. I have recently updated my site and firmware that allows for easier configuration of the adapter. It is now possible to upload a sample “white wall” shot to my site and have a custom profile generated that will apply real-time vignetting (and experimentally cast) correction (It looks like there is a limit of approximately 1 stop correction). My site provides an example (sorry, research and development has taken away from my time to actually take pictures) of vignetting and cast correction.
