Samyang 24mm f/2.8 FE will be announced tomorrow. Still no launch date for the Zeiss 40mm f/2.0.

One of our trusted sources sent us this high res picture of the new Samyang 24mm f/2.8 FE autofocus lens. And Samyang confirmed the lens will be announced tomorrow!

And I am now trying to learn when Zeiss will announce the new Batis 40mm f/2.0 CF FE lens. If you have some info please contact me at sonyalpharumors@gmail.com or use the anonymous contact form on top of the right sidebar. What we know so far about this lens:

Distagon optical design
The shortest shooting distance is 0.24 m
With focus limiter (Full / ∞ ~ 0.4 m / 0.5 m to 0.24 m)
Filter diameter is 67 mm
Batis Size close to 85mm (40mm is slightly smaller)

I guess the CF stands for “Close Focus”.
