Exactly eight months ago Sony announced the Sony A7IV. Since then we had no new camera release. You can check this Dpreview page to see that this is the largest “announcement gap” since many years. And we still have to wait some time more before the new ZV APs-C and A7rV announcements in late Summer/early Spring.

Yesterday Dpreview did name the A7IV as the Best camera around $2000 in 2022
