3 years ago |Over the last couple of years (well, since the A700), Cgarrard has grown to become quite bitter about the entire Alpha range. Granted, we all have our issues with Sony, but he has taken it to another level which is irresponsible IMO and very abusive to the readers of the site, which is why I quit his site some time ago. After this, I suspect I won’t be the only one.

3 years ago |Yes, please delete this link, its just an attempt to get attention from a bitter former Sony fan. He must not have much else to do other than rag on Sony cameras, poor guy must live in a really boring place or have permanent photographers block.

since Carl is now longer on Sony’s A list he has become a real hater.
he still wants you to think he has “inside” information though…. like i got a secret but i wont tell,,,,,,,,nananana booboo
i remember when he was still “joined at the hip” with Sony when the rumors of the A900 were floating around he swore up and down that there was no way it would be called the A900 but something else.taken from his Sony “insider”
and the April fools joke about the A7xx,,,never to be taken seriously again by me
shame really..he is quite a knowledgeable guy but wasted on his childish antics

Carl’s cryptic riddles are boring. And he is pretty vindictive. Note how he posted several mirrorless reviewers after Nex was launched. That says a lot about his spiteful personality.

And about the whole alpha line: I don’t know about the prices in your countries, but in mine the are not low, and the other offerings are simply better!
I speak as a former Sony Alpha user who’s now using Pentax…

3 years ago |Carl’s just flailing around on his site and dpreview these days, slagging the quality and sales of NEXes, finding fault wherever he can. To me he’s just as obnoxious a nonstop Sony slagger as he was as a nonstop Sony booster ever since he started bombarding dpreview with countless R1-related posts and defenses back in 2006.
