Sony A580 in Stock in US and Europe!
Finally also the new Sony Alpha 580 is in Stock here and there. For those of you that do not care about Autofocus speed during videorecording the A580 might is the better choice because of the Optical Viewfinder and the absence of the translucent mirror that would take you away some light (one third of stop).
In US:
Adorama has the Sony A580 with kit lens in Stock (Click here) and so some reseller on eBay (Click here).
In Europe:
Amazon Deutschland, Amazon UK
and some reseller on eBay (Click here).

3 years ago |Way faster than expected. I was thinking of buying this camera but since everybody said it was only gonna be available in November I decided to sell part of my Sony gear and there’s no turning back.
I highly recommend this camera for someone who is buying a DSLR camera for the first time. A lot of nice features for a good price.

3 years ago |.. maybe somebody who seen comparison between A55 and A580…
If the samples what I saw on one internet comparison was real, there is a noticeable difference.
(I don’t say that A55 is bad {because it is not}, but A580 is visibly better)

3 years ago |I wonder if this camera will have overheating issues while recording video like the a55.
Q
3 years ago |You mean over heating issues like ALL DLSR’s that record video?
Then yes, the camera will overheat with prolonged usage in video record mode. The difference in video mode is the autofocus system, both bodies still utilize sensor stability which contributes to system heat.
