Sham: “I just shot my first batch of wedding photos using the a99. I am not a professional wedding photographer and I was at this wedding as a guest first and photographer second. Just thought I want to share this with you. Lenses used are the SAL70200G SSM & 24-70 Zeiss. ISO800 & ISO1600 used. The a99 really has huge amount of DR to be pushed well in post processing. Converted the RAW files to DNG to be edited in ACR 7.1. That’s the only option available at the moment to process a99’s RAW in ACR. More US deal news: There is even a used(?) A99 for sale on Amazon (Click here). But I guess this is an error! What is certainly correct is that small $30 price drop via third party resellers on Amazon (Click here). And BHphoto notified me that they now have the NEX-5R in Stock too and so is the Yasuhara Fisheye lens (Click here) and the super cheap (joke) 300mm F/2.8G II A mount lens (Click here). King of Amazon mirrorles rankings remains the NEX-5n (here is the top list).

Many European readers told me that after the A99 (See Jessops for example) also the NEX-6 (See Amazon DE) preorders are being shipped! US readers will have also get their A99 preorders soon (shipment tomorrow according to BH). Keep in mind that NEX-6 with 16-50mm kits will be shipped later! Sony announced many new cameras at Photokina, the NEX-5R, NEX-6, VG900 and the A99. The first to be in Stock is the NEX-5R that is finally shipping in US and Europe too. Here is a short list of stores that are having the camera in Stock and link to the (non scientific) rankings:
