I got some more leaked A7c images (se below) and new info:

A7c will have a similar passive cooling system like the A7sIII so it won’t overheat when shooting 4K for a long period of time. It will also not have any recording limits, unlike the A7III’s 29-minute recording limit.

The leaked Samyang 35mmf /1.8 on the left vs the Sony 35mm FE (credit Derek)

I have been told the new Samyang 35mm f/1.8 FE will cost 359€. That’s about 200€ than what you pay for the Sony version (here on Amazon DE). The Samyang is also smaller than the Sony. If the Image Quality is about the same this is surely going to be a very popular lens!

The lens will be announced on Monday Sept 14.

I can now confirm the EU pricing of the Sony A7c:

2099 Euro for the body only
2399 Euro for the body with the new pancake zoom kit lens

Basically you get an A7III in a smaller body and some new features for 200 Euro&Dollars more. What’s different from the A7III? New menu system, improved autofocus systems, fully articulating screen and so forth. But while I like the idea to have a sort of “compact A7III” I think the price should have been a bit lower. Althaugh sources said this camera nails it when it comes to the esthetics. So maybe that’s also something that will attract potential customers.
