An store shortly leaked the Sigma lens pricing. Converted in USD dollars this would be:
Keep in mind that the real final USD price might be a bit different!
Sigma also officially teased the launch date:
17mm F4 DG DN | Contemporary (Full Frame)
50mm F2 DG DN | Contemporary (Full Frame)
23mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary (APS-C)
The 18-35mm f/1.8 EF/F/SA mount APS-C lens is certainly a very popular lens. In this interview Sigma CEO Yamaki made it clear that there is a fair chance a mirrorless version might be coming!
A trusted spruce confirmed that Sigma will announce the 17mm f/4, 50mm f/2 and 23mm f/1.4 on April 3. After those three lenses I expect Sigma to focus on more unique “one of a kind lenses” (my article about this here). There will be also a different version of the classic 70-20mm f/2.8 lens (my article about this here). I also got a first image of the new Sigma 23mm lens!
Here are the lens specs:
17mm F4 DG DN | Contemporary (Full Frame)
50mm F2 DG DN | Contemporary (Full Frame)
23mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary (APS-C)
The only zoom in Samyang’s lineup is this 24-70mm f/2.8 lens
I just got this from a new source (Thanks!):
Samyang is going to announce a new lens end of this month. It’s new to Samyang but it is not new to Sony users. It’s a zoom and it’s a portrait champion.
This sounds like we are getting a 70-200mm f/2.8 E-mount lens…what do you think?
7Artisans shared this teaser of a new Full Frame lens. Based on the construction this looks like a wide angle lens. What’s your best guess?
