Viltrox officially confirms their first (35-50mm f/1.4?) zoom lens is in development!

Viltrox has done an Ask me anything on Reddit. And when asked about the development of zoom lenses this is what they said:

About the zoom lens, we’re actively working on it. About the macro lenses, there won’t be any in the near future.

Back in August, I mentioned that several Chinese optical brands are currently developing autofocus zoom lenses for Sony E-mount—at least five are in the works. One of them is even rumored to be the world’s first full-frame f/1.4 zoom lens!

Rumored specs: 35–50mm f/1.4 FE !!!

If anyone can make this happen, my bet is on Viltrox!
