Dpreview remakes the NEX review
Dpreview received newer versions of the NEX cameras and has redone the review. What has changed? Not a lot: “the startup times have been considerably improved“. And the final NEX5 score changed from 64% up to 65%.

3 years ago |Dpreview reviews are junk when it comes to Sony cameras and no one really take their reviews seriously even canon users, people only care about theit charts not their garbage opinions (Canon users hate their unrealistic biased opinions and sony users hate their nonsense)
It’s funny how they corrected their video right after users posted a video showing how false dpreview information about the start up/shot to shot and they had to remake their review to make them believable again lol
What even worse is they were complaining about the start up time again and again through their review and even listed it as a big con, now the problem is fixed they did not increase the camera score not their removed the con so it seems they only want to nitpick on sony cameras for no reason which is childish really, 85% of their cons are subjective which can be a PRO for many users like the 16mm F2.8 lens for example

3 years ago |I never send anyone to DP’s reviews because the “next” button (to move to the next page of the review) is so buried in other junk at the bottom of their pages that I don’t trust that people will see the complete review.

3 years ago |Eh, I find them pretty balanced, for all brands, but then again I’m pretty brand agnostic so I’m not expecting them to praise my favourite.
They use the cameras/lenses quite a bit before posting a review, they post lots of example shots, they post detailed comparisons, reasons for why they think what they think, examples of why something is an advantage/disadvantage, etc.
If Sony is sending out pre-productions lenses, cameras and firmware, and making fixes on the run, what can you really expect? It’s great that they *have* fixed them, so points for Sony, and it’s great that DPR have updated their reviews, so points for them.
Me thinks you doth protest too much.

3 years ago |They act like little whiney children complaining about how they are hard done by the evil Sony PR team.. they should include a note in the review how the kind people of Canon never put them through this horrible ordeal.
You give them points for correcting a mistake? Wow, that’s like giving Canon cameras bonus points for having Canon stamped on it… oh, DPR does do that… my bad.
