The luxury leather case producer Gariz announced a new case for the NEX-5r. You can buy it (and see more pics) on their eBay store (Click here). There is also a Light Brown (Click here) and Brown (Click here) version. Gariz has also some other little leather accesories for the NEX-5r like lens cap and bags (look here via Slidoo eBay).

6 months ago |Can you add a category restriction to Slidoo? It surely would be useful. A lot of search keywords also bring up useless items. I’m searching for “Jackson Vintage” guitars and it comes up with a lot of vintage Michael Jackson records. Or Gibson Explorer brings up a lot of guitars and exhaust systems.
Don’t anyone suggest adding “guitar” as a keyword because not every seller include that word in their auction

*Total waste of money* as the grip space is even further reduced. I would not go near one of these again.

6 months ago |Thought so, i can see how that may not be a problem if you have a really large memory card but i can blow through my battery in half a day shooting with my hvl and brightness turned to sunlight readable…

6 months ago |I don’t understand why I would want one of these. It covers the battery and memory, and it’s main use seems to be that it lets me hang the camera from the same loop that unscrews the camera from the case. So that’s and additional risk of dropping and an additional step of disconnecting he strap, before removing the case in order to access the battery.
