New Sigma 35mm for Sony to ship in March only.
There is finally a shipping date for the new Sigma 35mm f/1.4 lens. According to BHphoto (Click here) the A-mount lens will be available in March only 
If you can’t wait that much and want a nice cheap lens you may grab the Rokinon 35mm f/1.4 instead (here at Amazon). Only drawback…it’s a manual focusing lens only.

5 months ago |I don’t like this information (it is bad information) but better it would be to leave it without comments. Thanks a God, as Nex-user I may adapt EF-mounted Sigma with 3rd-party adapter.
I hope LA-EA3 would be released as independent product (now it is available only with Handycam), do You know if it allow to manual focus with fixed (not preset but already set) aperture (like most of EF2E-mount adapters) ?

5 months ago |Come 12:01 AM on April the 1st 2013, a dimensional vortex will open up and swallow the entire world’s supply of Sigma 35/1.4s. If you happen to buy it on March the 31st you might not even have time to open the box before the space-time disturbance.

5 months ago |These would be fine, whether in March or later (Sigma often promises and frequently fails to deliver!), but no-one ever mentions that they can completely disrupt existing settings in Microadjust, if any are needed, owing to whatever disagreement/non-compliance exists between Sony and third party lens manufacturers.
I don’t know why this issue exists, or who is mainly to blame, but I do think we should put pressure on them all to sort it out!
