To all SAR readers! Wish you Happy New Year!
2011 is now over and I wish all our readers a nice peaceful New Year!
2012 will be a year of change in many aspects (see the current economic crisis). I hope we can grow out of the problems in a positive way. Coming back to less serious things I wish you to have fun on that little website named SonyAlphaRumors. A place where people can have some fun discussing the new Sony products. I am sure we will have plenty moments of excitement (and some of delusion).
So dear readers, let’s jump into that damn cool 2012!

The OVF on my a300 is practically hopeless during extreme darkness. Relying on live view for fireworks shots the whole time. I WANT EVFFFFFFFF!

A little about the NEX5N headaches!! I shot in RAW, single shot, manual settings. i shot about 5 shots in a row, different shots, about 1 second apart. When i come home and open the RAW files in lightroom, those 5 shots are all the same shots, when it should be a little different. so now i have 5 of the same exact shots, meaning i have duplicate shots while missing the other shots i thought i snapped. this has happened repeatedly on my nex5n. so it looks like if i snap a photo while the write is still in the buffer, it will duplicate. but for some reason the nex’s lcd shows that it was not a duplicate, while on my computer for lightroom it is duplicate.
And also the nex5n photos look ok in the lcd review, but always when i open in photoshop or lightroom, it is underexposed by 2 stops. but there is no option for exposure compensation??
anyone else with this bug??? sometimes i just want to throw the nex5n at the wall. it makes me think i got the shot correctly, but when i open on my computer to edit, it is duplicates, missing some critical shots, and underexposed. i am using the sony memory stick pro-hg duo 16gb card. and a manual voigtlander 35mm f1.2 version 2.
