A SAR reader sent me the link to a much cheaper [shoplink 12857 ebay]Sony A77 external vertical grip on auction on eBay (Click here)[/shoplink]. As you see it costs much less than the official Sony VG-C77AM Vertical Grip (here at Amazon). Question is, does it work at least nearly as good as the official grip?

As you know recently NEXpro (Click here) released the “world’s first Hot shoe designed for SONY NEX-5 and SONY NEX-5n” It costs around $80.
